Every successful commercial project shares something that almost no one sees in the finished result. Long before the foundation is poured, before the building goes up, before the parking lot is paved and the landscaping goes in, someone moved an enormous amount of earth to make all of it possible. The excavating contractor is the first trade on the site and the one whose work everything else depends on, and when that work is done right, it disappears into a project that simply functions the way it should.
